TweetRemembering the lives lost 10 years ago today and the brave men and women of 9/11. God Bless America!
9/11 design I had to turn around very quickly. I think it turned out pretty good. Fairly simple design. What do you think?

2 TweetThis design was inspired from a sermon by John Mark McMillian that I heard last night at Queen City Church. His talk was on the internal struggle between the Flesh and the Spirit. The key to living in the Spirit…love. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8a).

As always, any feedback on the design (good or bad)?

2 TweetI love to put my earphones in as Hillsong United plays, drown out the busyness of life, and let the creative design juices flow. It’s a great time to reflect in which seems to be its own little world with two inhabitants, God and me. A multitude of thoughts are going through this head of mine. One of them is focused on giving. I don’t give enough. Simple as that. I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world to see the richest and the poorest parts of the world. I’ve spent time in the most poverty stricken areas of the world, such living situations that bring tears to my eyes. I know I’m blessed, blessed by God. I recently reblogged a photo by Julian Bialowas, which had the phrase “Have less. Do more. Be more.” Now, I am not a millionaire by any means (not even close), but I don’t have to be (you don’t have to be). Am I giving as I should? No. Am I on earth just to accumulate material possessions…to have the latest and greatest of X, Y, and Z? All these things will soon perish. I’d like to make my own little edit to Julian’s words…Have less. GIVE MORE. Be More.
Live to give so others may live.

TweetHere’s another ad I did for One Thread’s Gathered Collection. As you can see, the ad ran during Mother’s Day. The “Love” text is composed of necklaces from the collection (Product photo credits and design inspiration: Pat Wright Photography). I wanted the “Love” part of the design to stand out as it spotlighted the product, so I made the other text clean and simple. Then, I threw in a splash of pale colors that would appeal to women and there you have it. The products really speak for themselves!
